Yield Gap Australia
Yield Gap Australia v2 is an interactive map-based tool for grain growers, agronomists, research funders and policy makers. It shows the extent and geographic distribution of the yield gap (the gap between actual and potential crop yield) of rainfed wheat crops in Australia. Having built the initial Yield Gap Australia tool many years ago, the brief for the remake was to make it cool and interactive while retaining the strong science focus. We designed and developed all parts of the new Yield Gap Australia site for CSIRO, working with the provided complex datasets to bring the reimagined tool to life.
